Does anyone know what the show is called...?

Where there is a human boy who is mentored by like a cartoon wizard guy? All I remember is him having to find an amulet and going on little magical quests in the human world that helped these magic cartoon guys. I think it came on in the mornings on WB or maybe Discovery Kids around 2003-2005.
