Help identifying a book about a summoned demon?

It's a first person perspective from the demons POV, its starts off with this kid who summons him, and as a demon he tries to trick the kid for his freedom bt fails, and is tasked to retrieve this amulet or book from a wizard. i don't remember the name or the names of any of the characters, but if you recognize this then please inform me of anything you know of it.
