Is selling weed really that bad?

my best friend sells weed and he tells me he just sells it to buy a car cause his family is poor as ****, he said hes gonna stop selling a couple months after he buys a car so he can keep a little for gas money, he tells me he only sells weed and wouldnt sell anything else cause other **** could kill you and he doesnt want somebody dieing cause of an overdose from his ****, anyways im not gonna rat on him cause its only weed but my question is do you think that being a weed seller is really even that bad? ive never tried it but i hear that there isnt any after effects.
