Is this a good story idea??!!!?

You have the makings of a good story there. What you should do is stop messing around asking questions, and get busy with your pen (or word processor). You have the imagination necessary to be a good writer. You need to see if you have the skills to write the story and, if you don't, you need to develop them. You presented your story idea well, so I think you have some skill at writing, though you may need to develop it more. You do that largely by writing, getting practice and experience that sharpen your writing skills. Go for it, I say, and good luck!
